Dr. Stuart Horowitz was board certified in family medical practice in 1985 and boasts nearly 30 years of experience working in Long Island. A Brooklyn native who grew up in Long Island. After completing his undergraduate studies at Hofstra University, Dr. Horowitz received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Iowa in 1977. He then finished his internship at three different hospitals: Interboro Hospital, Massapequa General Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Horowitz is also affiliated with New Island Hospital in Bethpage, as well as North Shore University Hospital in Plainview, New York. He won two major awards in 2011: the Compassionate Dr. Recognition Award and the Patients Choice Award.
