Dr. Marc Rybstein

Dr. Marc Rybstein is a Long Island native and received his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from New York University. There, he published multiple articles on chemistry and DNA in journals like the Journal of Inorganic Chemistry.

Afterwards, Dr. Rybstein enrolled in Stony Brook University Medical School, where his passion for cardiovascular disease – and especially preventive cardiology – was born. He completed his residency at Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Rybstein went on to acquire more knowledge about this field by partaking in many research projects pertaining to the risk factors for ischemic heart disease. He was also the recipient of the Resident of the Year Award in his second year of residency.

Among the cardiovascular issues Dr. Rybstein has dealt with for patients are ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, hypertension, lipid management and arrhythmias. He also specializes in diagnosing and treating many venous illnesses like chronic venous insufficiency and is highly knowledgeable about sclerotherapy.
